A 28-year-old Connecticut man is facing a slew of charges including possession of child porn and traveling across state lines to have sex with a minor after a missing 15-year-old metro Detroit girl was found in a motel room with him.

Federal agents filed the charges in court on Monday, after police pinged the missing girl's cell phone on Saturday to the Super 8 Motel in Belleville.

According to the criminal complaint, Rondell Cook is accused of luring the girl to the motel to have sex with her, and investigators say the pair had met on social media and had been communicating for months.

It's detailed in the criminal complaint that Cook asked the teen for multiple naked pictures and videos, which led to the child porn charges.

Investigators also say Cook traveled from Connecticut, 25 hours on a Greyhound bus, to meet the teen at the Super 8 Motel.

When officers arrived, the found, "a black leather whip, black leather paddle, black leather wrist and leg restraints, ball gag, black leather leash and a black rope."

They said they found the teen fully clothed in the bathroom with a collar on. The bed was disturbed and cook was only wearing unbuttoned pants.

It appears the teen agreed to meet Cook, and had been communicating since October. While Cook told investigators he didn't know how old she was, there is evidence she sent him her high school schedule and more.
