(WXYZ) — Michigan State Police say a construction worker was seriously injured by a driver allegedly driving under the influence on Wednesday night in Oakland County.
According to MSP, the crash happened around 10 p.m. on westbound I-96 near Milford Rd.
Investigation found that a construction worker was on the right shoulder of the freeway insatalling a sign when the car struck the vehicle he was on.
The worker was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
According to MSP, the 34-year-old male driver consented to a blood draw and is currently being lodged at the Novi Police Department for allegedly driving under the influence.
