In Livonia, Consumers Energy is working to fix a natural gas leak.
The leak is near Joy Road near Newbergh. That's not far from Livonia Churchill High School.
Joy Road is closed east of Newburgh in both directions for at least a couple hours.
Livonia police say people should avoid the area for the next few hours.
Right now, it does not look like classes at Churchill will be affected.
