A controversial candidate has lost his bid for a spot on the Madison Heights school board.
Wayne Reif was one of nine candidates seeking a seat on the board. He stirred up controversy after some racy posts he made on social media.
On Halloween, Reif posted "The one night of the year I wish I was actually on the sex offender list."
His comments drew a lot of attention and Reif told 7 Action News it was just his brand of humor.
This week, he posted on his Facebook asking people not to vote for him.
