LIVONIA, Mich. (WXYZ) — Livonia police will continue keeping an eye on local bus stops after parents of a 10-year-old reported a "suspicious subject" in their area.
On Thursday around 4 p.m., police received a report of a suspicious man in the area of a bus stop located near 6 Mile and Inkster.
According to police, the subject is described as a white male in his 20's or 30's, with slicked back hair wearing a white T-shirt and navy blue pants. He was riding a gray bicycle, the family told police.
"The subject never made physical contact with the child nor did they engage in conversation," the Livonia Police Department wrote in a Facebook post. "Officers have been and will continue to give special attention to area bus stops throughout the city."
The case is still under investigation.
