CDC releases guidelines for reopening schools

(WXYZ) — As students and school districts prepare to return to in-person class, the CDC released a decision-making tool for parents who are on the fence about whether to send their kids back to school for face to face learning or keep them home for virtual learning.

The CDC released a thorough plan for schools to get kids safely back to in-person learning, as well as diagrams for teachers on various classroom set ups with plexiglass, colorful walking paths, signage, fans, ventilation, and more.

While more than two-thirds of teachers have now received their first vaccine dose, adding an extra layer of safety for students and educators.
