(WXYZ) — Meijer is requiring all customers to wear a face mask or face covering at all Midwest stores, effective on July 20.
Customers who have medical conditions that prevent them from wearing face masks are exempt.
The new requirement is in addition to locations where executive orders are already in place requiring people to wear face coverings at retail locations.
Meijer is the latest to join stores enacting face mask requirements, including Kroger, Walmart, Costco and more.
