Michigan confirms 1,809 additional cases of COVID-19, 7 deaths

(WXYZ) — There are 136,465 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 6,898 deaths in Michigan, the state reported Monday.

That's up 1,809 cases and 7 deaths from Saturday and represents an average increase of 904 cases per day for Sunday and Monday.

As of Oct. 9, 104,271 people have recovered from the virus.
