Michigan confirms 557 new cases of COVID-19, 8 additional deaths

(WXYZ) — There are now 87,960 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 6,257 deaths, the state reported Monday.

That's up 557 cases from the day before. The state is also reporting eight new deaths.

So far, 63,636 have recovered from the virus in Michigan, according the state's latest COVID-19 numbers.

The state is reporting another 9,346 probable cases of the virus, as well as another 269 deaths that are believed to be from the virus.
