Michigan reports 3,239 new cases of COVID-19, 60 new deaths over 2-day period

Michigan reported 3,239 new cases of COVID-19 and 60 new deaths over the weekend, according to the latest statistics from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services.

That brings the total number of COVID-19 cases to 480,508 and the total number of deaths to 12,089.

318,389 people have recovered from the virus, according to the MDHHS, and as of Dec. 26, there are around 146,900 active cases of COVID-19.
