TROY, Mich. (WXY)Z — The Somerset Collection in Troy announced Wednesday that they will be closing at 7:00 p.m. through at least March 27.
Their full-service restaurants will remain open for carry-out curbside service.
The mall says the decision to close comes as many of their retail partners have closed worldwide.
Somerset also says their managing partner The Forbes Company is donating 2,000 meals to the Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries.
“Whenever there has been a need, The Forbes Company has stepped up to the plate to support our organization and the community we serve,” said Dr. Chad Audi, President and CEO, Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries in a news release. “Because of their generosity, 2,000 men, women and children in Detroit, who may have otherwise gone hungry, will have a warm meal tonight. We can’t thank them enough.”
