State of Michigan confirms 664 new cases of COVID-19 and eight deaths

(WXYZ) — The State of Michigan is confirming 664 new cases of COVID-19 and eight deaths.

That brings the total confirmed cases to 84,050 and total number of deaths to 6,220.

On Monday, Aug. 3 the state reported 604 new cases of COVID-19 and 6 new deaths as of Monday, Aug. 3.

Cases are continuing to rise in Michigan and across the country, especially among young people. In the past three weeks, cases among the ages of 0-19 have nearly doubled.
