Toast Birmingham temporarily closes after staff member tests positive for COVID-19

BIRMINGHAM, Mich. (WXYZ) — A popular brunch location in metro Detroit has closed temporarily after a staff member tested positive for the coronavirus.

Toast in Birmingham announced the closure on its Instagram page Monday.

The restaurant will be closed for the day as remaining staff are tested and the building undergoes a deep cleaning.

It's unclear if the restaurant will reopen on Tuesday.
