(WXYZ) — The Wayne County Sheriff's Office confirms to 7 Action News that a sheriff's deputy tested positive for COVID-19.

Right now, details about the deputy haven't been released.

As of Thursday, the state of Michigan confirmed that 336 people have tested positive for COVID-19. Three people have died.

According to the state, there have been 2,449 tests given. 51% of the cases are male and 47% female with 2% not reported.
