The Imlay City Police Department is warning residents and local businesses of counterfeit bills being distributed in Lapeer County.
Officers say the bills are not detectable to counterfeit pens and all have the same serial number: JB69122674B.
Police believe three black women operating a silver sedan are behind the fake bills.
Anyone with information about the women or the fake bills should call police at (810) 724-2345.
