LA SALLE TWP., Mich. (WXYZ) — A victim is describing a terrifying attack inside his own home in La Salle Township. Thieves stealing more than just cash while waving guns in front of his 3-month-old.

"It was about 4:50 (a.m.) or something. I was playing video games. Two guys rushed into my house and pistol-whipped me about five times,” said Phil Price, the victim.

Badly beaten and bruised, Price still is in pain after an early morning assault. He says two men wearing ski masks and armed with handguns entered his house on the 3700 block of North Otter Creek Road, and demanded cash.

“(They) pistol whipped my girlfriend about five times," Price said. "Beat her up. Fractured her jaw and dragged her by her hair. There’s bloodstains all over my carpet.”

In the home, deputies say the men insisted on any money the young couple had in the house, along with anything else of value. Price recalls them putting a gun to his head.

“Saying where’s the money? Where’s the money? Where’s the money?" Price recalled. "What money? I build houses. You know what I’m saying? I got my medical marijuana card and had a little weed. I’m like here, take my weed. You know what I’m saying?”

Detectives say gunshots were also fired outside the home, but no one was hit. Price says his girlfriend was treated after being struck with a gun in the head and later released from the hospital. The two men left the house in a newer model black colored Dodge Ram pickup truck.

“I just hope this don’t happen to nobody else, know what I mean?” Price said.
