Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward in the unsolved murder of a 19 year-old in Inkster.
Kylen Guinn was gunned down on Oct. 9, 2016 when he and a friend left Detroit to go meet someone in Inkster. When they arrived in the area of Carlysle near Andover St. around 1:30 in the afternoon, Guinn got out of the car and someone started shooting.
Guinn tried to run away, but the suspect kept firing shots. His friend drove away.
Guinn was killed and the police still don’t have any leads or any information about why this shooting happened.
Kylen attended Bradford Academy of Southfield and a member of their Performing Arts program. He attended church and worked at Menards. He had a bright future ahead, according to family members.
Crime Stoppers of Michigan is offering a cash reward of up to $2,500 for information that leads to an arrest.
If you call by the end of the day on Thursday, that reward could increase by $1,000.
