Detroit police say they are looking for the gunman who shot three men overnight, killing one of them.

It happened around 11 p.m. at a Valero gas station on W. 7 mile and Pierson, not far from Evergreen. Officers say that a man armed with a rifle fired more than a dozen shots at the men who were sitting in a van in the parking lot.

All three victims were rushed to the hospital. A 21-year-old man was pronounced dead a short time later. The other men injured were 21 and 31 years old.

Police say the 21-year-old is stable and the 31-year-old is in critical condition at a nearby hospital.

Surveillance video from the gas station shows the gunman shooting at the van that had at least five people inside.

The owner of the gas station did not want to speak on camera but says he's owned the business for 25 years and is horrified by the murder.
