DETROIT (WXYZ) — Tony award-winning musical "Dear Evan Hansen" will headline the 2019-2020 Broadway in Detroit subscription season.
The season will open with "Cats" at the Fisher Theatre in September 2019. It will be followed by "Come From Away" in October and "Hello, Dolly!" in November-December.
"A Bronx Tale," a musical based on Chazz Palminteri's life story, will open at the Fisher Theatre in January-February 2020.
Roald Dahl's "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" will be at the Detroit Opera House in March 2020, followed by "Dear Evan Hansen" in March-April 2020.
Lastly, "SUMMER: The Donna Summer Musical," will be at the Fisher Theatre in June 2020.
