They serve treats to the Dearborn Heights community, but now they are trying to do something extra sweet for refugees who are fleeing war-torn countries.
The Custard Hut in Dearborn Heights is collecting new and gently used clothes for the Syrian refugees. The clothes will be sent to Germany and Lebanon.
The shop has already filled 10 watermelon pallets with clothes.
Workers are collecting new and gently used clothes through Thursday this week.
