Dearborn Police are investigating after a psychologist was attacked at his own clinic.
The psychologist's family says he is in critical condition.
People working nearby the clinic, located at the intersection of West Outer Drive and Michigan Avenue, say they noticed police around 8 p.m. Wednesday. A source close to the investigation says Mel Hoberman suffered blunt force trauma to the head.
A Speedway gas station across the street has surveillance video of the attack, and police have taken a look at it.
The clinic currently has a sign on the door saying they are closed because of an office issue.
