The Monroe County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help locating the owner of two cows who were found running loose in Exerter Township earlier this month.

The two head of cattle were found running in the area of Colf Rd. and Sumpter Rd. on Sunday, July 8 and Monday, July 9.

Deputies were able to capture the cattle and transport them to the Devoted Barn for safe keeping.

One of the cattle is a Hereford Bull while the other is a Jersey Steer.

If you are the owner or know the owner, please call the Monroe County Animal Control at 734-240-3125. The owner has until Aug. 10 to claim the animals.
