Homicide detectives are investigating a body found near I-96 on Detroit's west side Wednesday morning.
Police responded to Littlefield and I-96 Service Drive near Grand River around 8:04 a.m.
At the scene, they found the body of an unidentified black man who suffered from a gunshot wound to the head, police say.
According to officers, the man appeared to be in his 30's. He was wearing a black shirt, black jogging pant and black gym shoes.
Detroit Police have not further details about the incident.
