(WXYZ) — Wallside Windows and Life Remodeled are partnering to put brand new, custom-made windows inside 15 Detroit homes.
Each upgrade is being completed with donated materials and labor by Wallside.
"Life Remodeled arranges these and other home repairs to address a major need for individual homeowners in the Detroit community where it has committed to improving approximately four square miles," a press release states.
Wallside Windows is family-owned and has been in business for over 75 years. The company is based in Taylor.
"Providing these much-needed windows in the midst of winter will help these families stay warm as well as save on energy costs," the company says.
