A Detroit firefighter is charged with assaulting two Livonia police officers. Body cam shows officers approaching Michael Cretu at his home back in June.
Police say Cretu was hostile and would not follow their orders. You can see the officers tussle with him as they try to get him to the ground.
The second officer's body cam shows things from another angle.
In the video, you can see Cretu continue to fight with the officers after they have him on the ground.
This entire ordeal started with officer's responding to a neighbor complaint.
The firefighter entered a plea deal on misdemeanor charges.
Cretu was sentenced to one year of probation.
