Detroit firefighters faced a unique challenge as they tried to extinguish a house fire on the city's east side Tuesday night.
Fire crews say a man with a knife approached them at a house on Molena near Van Dyke and began making threats. The man also reportedly threatened to harm his mom who lives in the same neighborhood.
We're told the man may be suffering from mental health issues.
Police were called and arrested the man at the scene.
No word yet on what started the fire.
