DETROIT (WXYZ) — A 50-year-old man from Detroit has been charged in the sexual assault of an 11-year-old girl.
Officials say Darrell Lee Harris allegedly raped the victim on two separate occasions in July and August 2018. The victim is reportedly the daughter of Harris' ex-girlfriend.
On Dec. 1, the victim's mother uncovered evidence of the alleged sexual abuse and reported it to the police.
Harris was charged with two counts of first degree criminal sexual conduct. His bond was set at $150,000.
