(WXYZ) — A Detroit man was arrested for allegedly stealing a pair of Cartier sunglasses off of a man's face in Westland on Nov. 4.
Javon Hardy, 23, was arraigned on three felony charges consisting of unarmed robbery, larceny from person and larceny over $1,000 but less than $20,000.
Westland Police said the glasses were valued at $2,600.
The victim was waiting in line at a gas station when Hardy allegedly grabbed the glasses off his face and tried to leave his store. After a brief struggle, Hardly allegedly ran to a vehicle that was parked in the lot.
