DETROIT (WXYZ) — Detroit police say a 35-year-old man is in custody for allegedly shooting and killing his father and shooting his mother over an argument.
We're told that the shooting happened around 5:30 a.m. on Grandview, which is near Telegraph and 8 Mile in northwest Detroit.
According to police, the man shot and killed his dad and shot his mom because he thought they did something to his old red Honda vehicle.
His mom pretended to be dead, police say, and called her daughter when the coast was clear.
Neighbors tell 7 Action news that the son's behavior was odd when it came to his car.
7 Action News Reporter Kimberly Craig will have more on this tonight on 7 Action News.
