A Detroit man was arrested after a high-speed chase in Missouri on Christmas Eve.
Missouri police were informed of a white Camaro traveling at a speed of over 100 miles per hour. Officers attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver increased speed and officers terminated the pursuit.
Police tried to issue another traffic stop and use a tire deflation device, but the suspect drove erratically, missing the device. While attempting to turn, the suspect crashed into the guardrail, but he continued north and fled on foot. Officers located the car and began tracking the suspect.
Hisham Mansoor, 25, was arrested for assault 2nd degree (special victim), property damage 1st degree, leaving the scene of an accident, resisting arrest and exceeding the posted speed limit.
