(WXYZ) — A 24-year-old Detroit man has been arrested for allegedly kidnapping his 7-month-old infant.
Police say the infant was taken from her mother's home, located in the area of 13 Mile Road and Utica Roads, by her estranged father.
Police say the suspect used force to abduct the infant while armed with a handgun.
The suspect was taken into custody without incident, police say. The infant was located at a Detroit residence, believed to be the mother of the suspect. Police say she was recovered unhurt and was being cared for when officers arrived.
The infant was then reunited with her mother.
