Detroit man charged in assault, robbery of school bus driver in front of children

(WXYZ) — A 23-year-old Detroit man has been charged in connection with the assault and robbery of a 63-year-old school bus driver.

On Jan. 25, the bus driver was at Asbury Park and Diversey when it is alleged the defendant, Reshawn Clark, and another man got on the bus, beat the driver in front of the children, took his personal property and ran away.

The investigation regarding the other man remains open.

Clark was taken into custody on Feb. 1. He has been charged with Unarmed Robbery and Assault and Battery. He was given a $50,000 cash bond.
