DETROIT (WXYZ) — A 28-year-old man has been charged in connection to the death of a 2-year-old boy.
Randon McMeekins was arrested Friday after police say a 2-year-old boy died.
According to police, McMeekins told investigators that the 2-year-old was in the bathroom at a home in the 9300 block of Cloverlawn on Friday when he heard a thud. He told police that's when he rushed the child to the hospital where the toddler later died.
McMeekins was later arrested and charged with child abuse and felony murder.
No further details were immediately made available regarding the investigation.
