A Detroit man charged with killing his estranged wife faced sentencing today.
Erin Justice pleaded guilty to murdering Alicia Fox earlier this month. Today, Justice was sentenced to a minimum of 47 years in prison.
At first, 29-year-old Justice declined the offer to plead guilty to second-degree murder instead of face trial on charges including first-degree murder, but later accepted the plea agreement.
Alicia Fox's body was found in an abandoned home in Detroit back in June of 2014.
Police say she was shot to death.
Her two children, Kayla Hunter and Kristian Justice are still missing. Kayla was 6 years old at the time and Kristian was 8 months old.
An accused accomplice in Alicia Fox's murder, 27-year-old Timothy Jones, was charged with helping to cover up her murder.
