DETROIT (WXYZ) — Detroit police say a 22-year-old man was shot and killed after the suspect knocked on his door and opened fire.
According to police, it happened around 1:30 a.m. in the 8000 block of Hubbell, which is off of Tireman east of Greenfield on the city's west side.
We're told the suspect arrived at the home, knocked on the door, and then opened fire, killing the man.
Police responded and found the victim on the ground unresponsive. He was transported to the hospital and died from his injuries.
According to police, the suspect is a black male with dreadlocks wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans.
