DETROIT (WXYZ) — Detroit police are investigating reports of a missing child Thursday morning after reports of a carjacking near Grand River and Livernois area.
The child was located safe shortly after the report that they were missing.
Detroit police are still investigating what exactly occurred.
During the course of their investigation, officers searched a home on Ward Street, where they believe the 1-year-old may have been taken.
Child Protective Services is involved in this investigation.
