Detroit is the sixth least safe city in America, according to a report from WalletHub.
WalletHub compared more than 180 cities across 39 metrics, ranging from assaults per capita to unemployment rate to road quality.
According to the report, Detroit ranked high on assaults per capita, high unemployment rate, hate crimes per capita, traffic fatalities per capita and percentage of uninsured population.
Grand Rapids ranked as the 48th safest city in the country while Columbia, Maryland took the number one spot.
