DETROIT (WXYZ) — Detroit was named one of the worst cities to celebrate Valentine's Day in 2019 in a new report from WalletHub.

Detroit ranked number 99 in a list of top 100 cities.

According to the report, Detroit has one of the highest average ticket prices for Valentine's Day parties and some of the most expensive three-course meals for two.

Additionally, Detroit has some of the fewest jewelry stores per capita.

San Francisco was named the best city in the country to celebrate Valentine's Day.
