Detroit is one of the top cities in the United States with the most honest singles, according to a new survey from Match.com.
According to the dating website, 59 percent of people in Detroit don't tell a lie or fib on dates. That's tied for third in America with Memphis, Denver and Phoenix.
The singles in America survey was conducted ahead of National Honesty Day on April 30.
According to Match, over half of singles don't tell a white lie when they're dating.
If they do lie, Match says they are most likely to lie about the number of sexual partners, followed by their dating history and their finances.
19.2 percent of people lie about their sexual history, according to Match, while 17.6 percent lie about their dating history and 11.8 percent about their finances.
The study found that men and women are both equally likely to lie about their sexual partners, but men both lower and increase their number equally while women are more likely decrease their number.
Men are more likely to lie about their finances and job while women are more likely to lie about their weight.
