Detroit police ask for help finding missing man with schizophrenia

WXYZ — DETROIT - Police are asking for the public's help in locating a missing man from the area of Cherrylawn in Detroit.

According to police, Muhummad Irahim, 26, was last seen on Monday, December 23, around 10:30 a.m. by his caregiver in the 15000 block of Cherrylawn and hasn't returned. The caregiver told authorities that she took him to the doctor to replenish his medicine when he became upset and left the location.

Irahim is described as a white male, 5'4", 125 lbs., with a thin black beard, black curly afro, and was wearing all black at the time.

Irahim suffers from schizophrenia.
