DETROIT (WXYZ) — The Detroit Police Department is investigating two non-fatal shootings that happened late Saturday evening.
The first shooting happened around 8:30 p.m. in the area of Mack and Fischer. The victim is a 29-year-old man.
The victim got into a verbal argument with the suspect when the suspect fired shots, police say. The victim was then taken to a local hospital and listed in critical condition. No further information was immediately available regarding the incident.

Around 11:39 p.m. that same day, a 59-year-old woman was shot by an unknown suspect while walking in the 15800 block of Plymouth, police say.
