Detroit police investigating 4 non-fatal shootings and 1 deadly shooting from overnight

(WXYZ) — Detroit police are investigating multiple shootings that occurred between Saturday and Sunday morning, one resulting in the death of a 25-year-old man.

The first shooting happened Saturday around 8 p.m. in the 1000 block of E. Canfield in Detroit. The 25-year-old victim was sitting in his vehicle when a male suspect fired multiple shots into the vehicle's windshield.

Police say there was argument that happened between the victim and the suspect before the shooting happened. The suspect fled on foot and the victim is listed in critical condition.

The second shooting happened around 11 p.m. in the area of Mack and Moross. Police say the victim is a 30-year-old man. He was standing at a bus stop when an argument occurred between him and one of two unknown suspects.

The victim was shot during the argument. He's now listed in stable condition at a hospital. The Two suspects involved fled the area.

Another shooting, which also happened around 11 p.m., took place in the 19500 block of Ferguson.

A 19-year-old woman was shot and a 25-year-old man was shot and killed.

Police say the teen was standing outside when an argument occurred and then shots were fired. The19-year-old was hit, along with a 25-year-old man.

The 19-year-old is now listed in temporary serious condition.

Early Sunday, around 3 a.m., police say a 30-year-old man was parked in an alley in the 13000 block of W. 7 Mile Road when two suspects began firing shots at him.

The victim, who is also a valid CPL holder, returned fire on the suspects and then fled the scene. He drove himself to a local hospital and is listed in stable condition, police say. No other information was immediately available regarding the incident.
