Detroit police are investigating after a man's body was found on a sidewalk in the 14470 block of Maddelein.
Police say the victim, believed to be in his 30s, was shot and killed.
Neighbors reported hearing shots around 10 p.m. Wednesday night, but they thought it was celebratory gunfire.
Police say the body may have been on the sidewalk all night before a cement worker made the discovery.
