DETROIT (WXYZ) — The Detroit police are looking for two suspects wanted in connection to a fatal shooting that happened on the city's east side.
The incident happened March 4 at 3:10 a.m. in the 10000 block of Harper.
According to police, a 33-year-old man was sitting in his 2001 white Chevy Monte Carlo, which was parked on Harper and Cadillac. The two unknown suspects walked toward the victim's vehicle, but then got inside a small, dark colored four-door vehicle. Then one minute later, that vehicle pulled up beside the victim's vehicle and the front seat passenger got out, approached the victim's car and fired shots from a handgun.
The victim was able to drive off and stopped at a Project Green Light Detroit gas station in the 9100 block of Chalmers.
The suspects fled northbound on Hurlburt. The victim was taken to the local hospital where he died.
Police say one suspect is described as a black man in his 30s. He's 5 feet, 10 inches tall and slim build. He was wearing a black hoodie with a baseball cap.
The description of the second suspect is unknown.
Police say four individuals were inside the suspect vehicle.
