DETROIT (WXYZ) — Detroit Police say they have found the 2-year-old boy reported missing in southwest Detroit Friday morning.
Officers say the boy's father remains in custody following questioning by child abuse investigators.

Aries Washington went missing in the location of Melville and Yale Street around 5:30 a.m. Friday.
His father told police that they were sleeping behind a building underneath an awning. When he woke up, he couldn't find the child.
Police say Washington is 3 feet tall and weighs 40 pounds. He has short twisted braids and was wearing a blue and white striped hoodie, black boots and blue jogging pants.
