Detroit police looking for suspect who set off fireworks inside gas station

DETROIT (WXYZ) — Detroit police are looking for a suspect who set off fireworks at a gas station on the city's west side.

Police say on Sept. 3, at approximately 9:45 p.m., the suspect walked into the gas station located in the 19800 block of W. McNichols.

He set a box of fireworks down on the floor, is seen lighting them and then running away from the location.

Police say the fireworks caused damage to the ceiling tiles inside. No injuries were reported.
