DETROIT (WXYZ) — A man allegedly grabbed a 5-year-old girl from the backyard of her home in Detroit on Sunday, but he was scared off by the girl's older 11-year-old sister.
Police say the incident occurred in the 1000 block of Wheelock.
The girls were playing in the backyard when a man entered the yard and allegedly grabbed the 5-year-old. He tried to pull her over the fence but let her go when the girl's older sister yelled at him. He let her go, and then ran away.
Police describe the suspect as a man in his late teens or early 20s with a brown goatee.
