DETROIT (WXYZ) — Detroit police say a suspect is in custody after being shot by a CPL holder he allegedly attempted to rob.
It happened at around 6:46 p.m. in the 18600 block of Grayfield. That's near 7 Mile and Berg on the city's west side.
Police say the man approached a 25-year-old man and attempted to rob him. Officers say the victim pulled out a gun and both men opened fire.
The suspect was hit in the body. He is currently in critical condition at the hospital.
The victim was not injured.
