Detroit Police search for missing 16-year-old girl last seen Oct.12

Detroit Police need help locating a missing 16-year-old girl last seen Oct. 12. 

According to police, Meia Jackson was last seen Friday around 6:45 p.m. in the 8000 block of Stahelin. Meia's grandmother told police when she got home from work Meia was not there but assumed she was at a neighbor's or relative's home. 

A neighbor saw Meia walking in the rain headed northbound on Stahelin toward Joy Road around 8 p.m.

Meia is 5-feet 2-inches with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white tank top t-shirt, black jogging pants and men's Nike flip flop shoes. 

Meia is in poor mental and physical condition, according to police. 

Her grandmother says Meia has never been missing before and is very worried.
