Detroit police searching for missing 16-year-old who suffers from mental health issues

Detroit police are asking for the public's help to locate a missing 16-year-old who suffers from mental health issues.

Police say Shanteya Bunton-Lowe was last seen on February 12 around 5:30 p.m. at her home in the 9500 block of Wayburn Street. She reportedly left the house after an argument.

Bunton-Lowe is described as a black female, about 5'9" and 225 pounds with brown eyes and black braids. She was wearing a burgundy coat with fur on the hood, khaki pants and tan boats when she left the house.

If anyone has information regarding her whereabouts, please call police.
